Dr Mike Anderson was appointed as the Medical Director at Chelsea and Westminster in the summer of 2003.

He trained in London, and then undertook a period of research leading to an M.D. in various aspects of viral hepatitis. He was appointed as a Consultant Physician and Gastroenterologist at West Middlesex University Hospital NHS Trust and an Honorary Consultant Physician at Chelsea and Westminster in 1990. He was Medical Director at West Middlesex between 1997 and 2003, prior to moving to Chelsea and Westminster full time.

He is an Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer of Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine and has a special interest in liver disease.
